What do we do for Key Stage One and Two?
Learning at Twycross is special. There is nothing more rewarding than a child's face when they encounter their first snake nose-to-nose! Nothing compares to experiencing the real thing and provide interactive and exciting sessions for Key Stage One and Key Stage Two students that fit in with all areas of the curriculum.
Our sessions are specially designed to inspire children about the natural world around them. We offer a wide range of subject area so there is sure to one that suits your needs. Each session will be in one of our under-cover teaching classrooms with interactive facilities, will last between 30 and 45 minutes and can accommodate up to 30 children.
Sessions are free of charge until the end of August (£35 from 01/09/2013). Click here for our educational group entrance rates.
During this time the children will get to experience some of the natural world close up, by meeting some of our animal educators!

Our new exhibit 'The Wetlands' opened at Easter 2012 and provides us with an excellent area to allow you to discover our native wildlife.
Learning at Twycross is special. In 'The Wetlands' your students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature.
One of our Discovery Team will share their knowledge and enthusiasm with you as they guide you. Your students' learning is enhanced by experiencing nature though looking, listening and participating in interactive games.
Our sessions are designed to engage children with the natural world through firsthand experiences that fit with the national curriculum.
We currently offer discovery sessions for Key Stage 2 students. If you are interested in discovery sessions for another key stage group please get in touch with the Education Department using the contact details below.
