Unit Supervisor (Catering)
We currently have a vacancy for a Unit Supervisor to join our existing catering management team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual who will ideally have a minimum of 12 months experience of working within a high volume catering operation and hold a basic food hygiene certificate.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is flexible, proactive, adaptable and reliable. Key responsibilities will include serving customers in a pleasant, efficient and professional manner, managing a team of up to 50 seasonal team members and taking responsibility for the operational delivery of the catering department in the absence of the Catering Managers. You will be involved in the planning and preparation of key events, assist with the training and development of the catering team, have a range of culinary skills, be knowledgeable about the food and beverage offering available (including tariffs and offers) and be confident in dealing with customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of food in one of our busy outlets, ensuring that the production of food is made to the highest standard following all hygiene and food safety regulations. They will demonstrate due diligence and HACCP knowledge/understanding.
The position is offered on a flexible rota basis of up to 5 days out of 7, by mutual agreement. This will include weekends and school holidays including the Christmas and New Year period. The rate of pay for this vacancy is £7.04 per hour.
