Twycross Explorers Club
This is our Saturday club, open to all of our Junior Members aged 8 to 12. Non-members can pay an anuual fee of £35 (only 75p per session) to join in.
We meet on Saturday morning in Himalaya between 10.15 and 10.30, parents collect Twycross Explorers from Himalaya at 12.30.
Each session has a different theme, check out the Twycross Explorers monthly newsletter (available in guest services) for a look at the upcoming activities, as well as fun facts, animal info and our monthly game.
Every two months we have our Family Fun Twycross Explorer sessions, these are drop in sessions open to the whole family and are run throughout the day, they're a great chance for younger siblings to have a go too! Our next family fun session is on 15/6/13.
Summer Schools
Twycross Zoo runs two summer schools, Twycross Zoo Summer School, for children 8 to 12 years, and Zooniversity for teenagers 13 to 16 years. Please see below for more details...
Twycross Zoo Summer School
Join the discovery team to find out all about Twycross Zoo's animals. Play games, make crafts and meet some of our friendlier animals, with a special parents event at the end of the week!
Ages: 8 to 12 years
Date: 29/7/13 to 2/8/13 inclusive
Time: 8.45am - 5.15pm
Price: £65 for all 5 days (£50 for members)

Zooniversity - new week released!
It's not just keepers that work at the zoo! Join the discovery team for the week to try out different zoo careers.
Ages: 13 to 16 years
Date: NEW DATES 19/8/13 to 23/8/13 (12/8/13 to 16/8/13 inclusive NOW FULL)
Time: 10am - 4pm (wrap around care available from 8:45am and until 5:15pm, additional charges apply)
Price: £100 for all 5 days (£85 for Friends of Twycross and siblings)
